Social Change, Judicial Activism, and the Public Interest Lawyer

Abstract

This essay details what it means to be a public interest lawyer, as well as the challenges that face a public interest lawyer today. The paper addresses challenges such as the increasingly complex social and discriminatory issues, limited funding and resources, restrictions on cases, and the charge of judicial activism.
