Global Studies Fellows 2025-2026
WashU Law Global Studies Law Review Fellows
The Global Studies Fellows program brings together outstanding WashU Law L.L.M., International Master of Laws, and J.S.D. students to contribute short-form commentaries, case reflections, and thought pieces on current transnational legal issues. Fellows serve as global voices within the journal’s network—bridging academic insight and practitioner perspective from their home jurisdictions. Their work appears in the Global Studies Law Review’s international publications and digital platforms.
We are pleased to announce our 2025-2026 Global Studies Fellows:
Jinchen Tang
Bio: I’m Jinchen Tang from China. I’m an LL.M. candidate focusing on international economic law and serving as a fellow on the Global. I’ve completed externships with judicial and prosecutorial institutions and published articles in my home country. This year, I’m aiming to deepen my writing and editing through journal work.

Din Mashkovich

Bio: Din Mashkovich is an LL.M. Candidate at WashU, holds an LL.B. and a B.A. in Psychology from Reichman University, and has professional experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, teaching assistant, and research assistant. Their research focuses on IHL, ICL, and IHRL, often integrating statistical analysis and insights from psychology as part of an interdisciplinary approach to law.

Yunqi Yuan

Bio: Current Tax LL.M. candidate at Washington University in St. Louis with a multinational academic background from France and China. Holds a Bachelor's degree from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and participated in an exchange program at East China University of Political Science and Law. A multilingual professional fluent in English, French, and Chinese (Mandarin), with experience in legal research and client counseling simulations. Actively seeking to leverage a unique international perspective in the field of tax law.
