The Dark Side of Trusts: Challenges to Chinese Inheritance Law

Abstract

A recent Chinese commentator on the Trust Law summed up the potential value of trusts with the so-called “American saying” that the services trusts provide are “beyond the limits of the imagination.” As this Article will argue, China must anticipate that those services are not always laudable.
