Clinton is a second-year Master's student in Film and Media Studies at Washington University, and is the founder and editor-in-chief of The Cinematograph film journal. He researches the intersection between film, colonial ideology and national identity. He is also interested in spectatorship and cinematography in early silent films, the narrative construction in professional wrestling, and representation of "otherized" groups.
